Twitter Enhances My Profession

     I was sitting here on my couch this afternoon with my family and checking my twitter feed.  It dawned on me exactly how much I have learned about the turf profession.  I follow a lot of people but I would say that about 40% of the people I follow are involved with turf in some capacity.  I have always enjoyed learning how people address their turf stands.  The fact of the matter is that no 2 superintendents or assistants for that matter do it the same.  I appreciate the fact that superintendents, professors, and professionals involved in local and national chapters take the time to address me and my questions on Twitter and other social media sites.  I hope that as I move forward in my career that I can help people coming behind me in the profession the way that I have been helped by several excellent professionals up to this point.
